URGENT ALERT OF INTENDED ACTION BY TRAVELLERS

I have been in contact with Hinckley and Bosworth Council yesterday (29th April 2009) and a planning officer has again confirmed that they have received information which suggests travellers are planning to build another caravan site within the Parish of Thornton and Bagworth over the May bank holiday weekend - possibly beginning shortly after the Council offices close on Friday afternoon. Unfortunately, the location of this site is not known to the Borourgh Council so they have been unable to take any legal action to prevent it from happening, however they have stressed that they would like local residents to contact them immediately if they see any suspicious activity which could suggest preparations are being made for groundworks to take place on local land.

Today (30th April) I received information from a very reliable source that a local aggregrate distributor had received a large order for aggregrate from the gyspy community for delivery to a site in our area this weekend so please be vigilant.
